Celebrating 25th Anniversary of American Term Academic Exchange Program
Lee Schwartz, Director of the Office of the Geographer and Global Issues, recently visited Charles University along with Dr. Marie Price, professor of geography from The George Washington University and President of the American Geographical Society to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the so-called “American Term”, an academic exchange program between the United States and Czechia. The American Term is administered by Charles University in Prague in co-operation with Dartmouth College and was established in part by George Demko, former Director of the Office of the Geographer and Global Issues.
