UN-sponsored Humanitarian Networks and Partnership Week conference on February 6-10 2017

HIU attended the UN-sponsored Humanitarian Networks and Partnership Week conference on February 6-10 2017 in Geneva, Switzerland. Over 400 participants from governments, NGOs, UN agencies attended this weeklong event, which covered such topics as humanitarian information analysis, natural disaster/hazard alert systems and technology, lessons learned from recent disasters, humanitarian NGO partnerships, and rapid needs assessments in natural disasters. HIU met with some of its key partners, data providers, and counterpart analysts in the humanitarian sector.
